Position the fuse holder complete with spacer and fix it with the two screws
(1).

THIS MOTORCYCLE IS EQUIPPED WITH A BATTERY THAT REQUIRES NO
MAINTENANCE OTHER THAN PERIODICALLY CHECKING STATE OF CHARGE.

NOTE
IN ORDER TO INSTALL AND USE A NEW CONVENTIONAL LEAD BATTERY, THE
SPACER (7) INSTALLED ON THE SECONDARY FUSE HOLDER MUST BE RE-
MOVED.
ACT ON THE LOCKING TABS (8) TO REMOVE THE SPACER (7).
Charging the battery
The battery may be charged with the battery itself in its mounting on the vehicle and
connected to the electrical system of the vehicle. The battery may also be charged
with the battery removed from the vehicle and disconnected from the electrical system.
