6. Programme Mode Detail
In the Program shown above the heater is set to run
in economy mode between midnight and 7am,
comfort mode between 7am and 7pm, and frost
protecon mode between 7pm and midnight.
7. Setting your own program
To begin programming the sunray heater
press and hold the Mode buon (1) unl
the display shows “PROG”.
There will be a small arrow poinng to the numbers on the
le hand side of the screen. These numbers are the days of
the week, 1=Monday, 2=Tuesday etc. The arrow will point
to 1 (Monday) when you begin programming.
The programme is set using the ‘+‘, ‘-’ & Power buons
(3, 2 & 4). Two ashing bars shows the hour that is to be
programmed.
To programme the radiator to run in Frost Protecon mode
for the hour indicated by the 2 ashing bars press the
power buon (4). The 2 ashing bars will move to the next
hour.
To programme the radiator to run in Economy mode for the
hour indicated by the 2 ashing bars press the ‘-‘ buon (2).
To programme the radiator to run in Comfort mode for the
hour indicated by the 2 ashing bars press the ‘+‘ buon (3)
When you have nished programming a day you can copy
the programme forward to the next day by holding in the
Mode buon unl the arrow on the le side of the screen
moves to the next number. To move to next day without
copying the programme just press the Mode buon once.
When You Have nished programming the last day of the
week press the Mode buon once to set or conrm the
me. See step 7.
IMPORTANT: Once the programming and me seng
has been completed you will need to set the heater to
operate in the program mode as outlined in step 5 -
Changing Operang Modes.
8. Step by Step Programme Example:
The program shown in step 5 (Programme Mode Detail) is
set by following these steps: Press and hold the Mode
buon unl you see ‘Prog’ on the screen. The arrow will be
poinng to 1 indicang you are going to set the programme
for Monday. Now press the ‘-‘ buon 7 mes to set
economy mode for (00:00-07:00), then press the ‘+’ buon
12mes to set comfort mode for(07:00-19:00), nally press
the power buon 5 mes to set frost protecon mode for
(19:00-24:00). Monday is now programmed. To copy this
programme forward to Tuesday press and hold the Mode
buon unl the arrow moves to point to the 2 on the le
side of the screen. To move to Tuesday without copying
the programme just press the Mode buon once.
9. Setting the time.
Theme can only be set the rst me you turn the radiator
on or aer you have completed the programming.
When the programming has been completed for all 7 days
the display will ask for the day and me to be set. This is
indicated by the 7 numbers on the le of the screen
ashing. Select the correct day with the ‘+‘ & ‘-’ buons.
When you have the correct day, press the Mode buon.
The Hours will now ash, set the correct hour of the day
with the ‘+‘ & ‘-’ buons and press the Mode buon, the
minutes will now ash. Set the minutes in the same way
and press the Mode buon to set theme and complete
the programming.
IMPORTANT: Once the programming andme seng has
been completed you will need to set the heater to operate
in the program mode as outlined in step 4 - Changing
Operang Modes.
NOTE: The day/me seng will only be stored in the heater
for 30 minutes if the power supply is interrupted. The
Programme will be stored indenitely.
10. Engineering Menu
To access the engineering menu press and hold the power
buon for 5 seconds. The numbers on the le side indicate
which part of the menu you are in. Press the power buon
once to move from one part to the next.
Part 1 sets how many
o
C the economy mode set temperature
is below the Comfort mode set temperature.
Part 2 sets the temperature oset –> the No. of
o
C above/
below the observed room temperature the radiator uses as
it’s current temperature.
Part 3 is to be ignored.
Part 4 sets number of seconds the backlight stays lit for.
