Polenta con
Col China
(un contenedor)
4 Personas
1 l caldo de carne, caliente
250 g harina de maíz
sal, pimienta
1 cabeza pequeña de col china
1 cebolla picada
10 g mantequilla
2 cucharaditas de hierbas picadas al gusto
Nivel de agua en la base: mínimo

Verter el caldo caliente en el Bol de
arroz. Añadir harina de maíz, sal y pimienta
y removerlo todo.

Poner el Bol de arroz en el contendor
y cocer al vapor durante 20 minutos.

Entretanto separar las hojas de la col,
lavar y quitar el tronco duro. Cortarlas en
tiras. En la sartén saltear la cebolla en la
mantequilla.

En una fuente poner capas alternativas
de polenta y col china.

Al final, echar la cebolla salteada enci-
ma de la polenta, esparcir las hierbas y
servir enseguida.
La polenta de esta receta debe ser suave y
cremosa.
Polenta with Chinese
Cabbage
(for one steam basket)
Serves 4
1 l meat stock, hot
250 g cornmeal
salt, pepper
1 small head Chinese cabbage
1 chopped onion
10 g butter
2 tbsp chopped herbs, according to choice
Water level in base pan: min.
1.
Put hot meat stock into rice bowl. Stir
cornmeal, salt and pepper (to taste) into
stock.

Insert rice bowl into steam basket and
steam for 20 minutes.
3.
In the meantime, part the Chinese
cabbage leaves from the head, wash and
remove hard stalks. Cut leaves lengthwise
into strips. In a frying pan, sauté onion in
butter.
4.
In a serving bowl, alternate layers of
polenta and Chinese cabbage.
5.
Finally, spoon sautéed onions over
polenta, sprinkle with chopped herbs and
serve immediately.
The polenta in this recipe should stay soft
and creamy.
