Sio (Sio?) - Serial Input/Output
With Sio (Sio?) displayed, press the TARE/ENTER key. The display will change to show the
current setting no. To skip configuring the Sio (serial input/output) and proceed to the
Print? menu, press the TARE/ENTER key again. To configure the Sio, press the /UP
ARROW key to select YES and then press the TARE/ENTER key. After pressing the
TARE/ENTER key, the display will change to Sio 0.
Sio 0? (Setup Serial Port 0)
Press the TARE/ENTER key. The display will change to show the current setting no. To skip
configuring the Sio Port 0 (serial input/output) and proceed to the Sio 1? menu, press
the TARE/ENTER key again. To configure the Sio 0, press the /UP ARROW key to select
YES and then press the TARE/ENTER key.
bAUd0= (Serial Port 0 Baud Rate)
Press the TARE/ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
press the TARE/ENTER` key again to save it. Otherwise, use the /UP ARROW key to
toggle to a new setting and then press the TARE/ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are:
12 = 1200 Baud 24 = 2400 Baud 48 = 4800 Baud
96 = 9600 Baud 14 = 14.4k Baud 19 = 19.2k Baud
28 = 28.8k Baud 38 = 38.4k Baud 57 = 57.6k Baud
76 = 76.8k Baud 11 = 115.2k Baud 23 = 230.4k Baud
Prty0= (Serial Port 0 Parity)
Press the TARE/ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
press the TARE/ENTER` key again to save it. Otherwise, use the /UP ARROW key to
toggle to a new setting and then press the TARE/ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are:
0 = NONE (No Parity) 1 = Odd Parity 2 = Even Parity
bitS0= (Serial Port 0 Data Bits)
Press the TARE/ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
press the TARE/ENTER` key again to save it. Otherwise, use the /UP ARROW key to
toggle to a new setting and then press the TARE/ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are:
7 = 7 Data Bits 8 = 8 Data Bits
StoP0= (Serial Port 0 Stop Bits)
Press the TARE/ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
press the TARE/ENTER` key again to save it. Otherwise, use the /UP ARROW key to
toggle to a new setting and then press the TARE/ENTER key to save it. Allowable values are:
1 = 1 Stop Bit 2 = 2 Stop Bits
Cont0= (Continuous Output Serial Port 0)
Press the TARE/ENTER key to show the current value. If the setting displayed is acceptable,
press the TARE/ENTER` key again to save it. Otherwise, use the /UP ARROW key to
toggle to a new setting and then press the TARE/ENTER key to save it.
Cont0= YES Cont0= no
Continuous Output No Continuous Output
If Cont0= YES (Continuous Output) is selected, an additional prompt, tYPE0=
will be displayed.
If Cont0= no (No Continuous Output) is selected, proceed to the Weight On
Demand section.
