sor y retire los adhesivos.
* Should you take the unit for servicing to your retailer or nearby dealer, it is recommended that you keep
the removable accessories, i.e. the roll holders, AC cord (if detachable), to prevent them from loss.

m™ HOW TO LOAD THE ROLL-PAPER
1) Set the power switch to ‘“‘ON”’.
2) Insert the roll holders into their mounting brackets (Fig. 1)
3) Cut across the paper to form a clean end (Fig. 2).
4) Insert the leading end of the roll-paper into the feed slot and keep pressing key until the leading
end comes out (Fig. 3).
5) Clip the roll-paper onto the spring arms (Fig. 4).
Note: The roll-paper should be advanced only by pressing the key when loading or cutting it off
with the paper cutter. Never pul! out the roll-paper by hand as this may cause malfunctions.
It is recommended that ANTI-DUST type roll-paper be used to prevent illegible printing.
m COMO CARGAR EL ROLLO DE PAPEL
1) Lleve el conmutador de encendido a la posicién ‘‘ON’’.
2) inserte los soportes del rollo en el receptaculo de montaje (Fig. 1).
3) Corte una seccién de la punta de! papel en forma transversal (Fig. 2).
4) Inserte la punta del rollo de papel en la ranura correspondiente y mantenga presionada la tecla
hasta que sobresalga bastante (Fig. 3).
5) Fije el rollo de papel en los brazos de resorte (Fig. 4).
Nota: El papel se debe hace avanzar sdlo presionando la tecla al cargarlo o al cortarlo con el corta-
dor. Nunca tire de la punta del papel para avanzarlo puesto que se pueden causar desperfectos.
Se recomienda el uso de papel A PRUEBA DE POLVO para evitar la impresién poco legible.
m HOW TO CHANGE THE PRINTING RIBBON
1) Remove the roll paper and printer cover.
2) Lift off the left side ribbon spool @. Then keeping the ribbon holding lever @) to the left, take off
the right spool @.
3) To fit a new ribbon, keep the ribbon holding lever to the left and put the right side spoal @) onto the
spindle and shift the lever to the original position.
Note that the black section of the ribbon should be on top.
4) Run the ribbon around the right hand ribbon guide @ and thread the ribbon as illustrated.
5) Put the left side spool onto the spindle () and turn it clockwise to click into position.
6) Replace the printer cover. |
= COMO CAMBIAR LA CINTA IMPRESORA
1) Sacar el rollo de papel y la tapa de la impresora.
2) Levantar el carrete de cinta del lado izquierdo @). A continuacién, sosteniendo la palanca de soporte
de la cinta hacia la izquierda @), sacar el carrete derecho (2).
3) Para instalar una cinta nueva, sostener la palanca de soporte de la cinta hacia la izquierda y colocar
el carrete derecho (@) sobre el eje para luego desplazar la palanca a su posicién original.
Nétese que la seccién negra de la cinta debe estar hacia arriba.
4) Pasar la cinta alrededor de la gufa derecha (@) y enhebrar la cinta del modo ilustrado.
5) Colocar el carrete izquierdo sobre el eje ©) y girarlo hacia la derecha para trabarlo en su posicién.
6) Colocar la tapa de la impresora en su posicién original.
