“Add
Mode”

This
mode
is
very
useful
when
performing
calculations
in
dollars
or
other
monetary
systems
that
require
two
decimal
places.
Two
decimal
places
are
not
added
in
this
mode
if
you
press
the
G]
key
while
inputting
a
value,
or
for
any
operation
other
than
addition
and
subtraction.

You
can
perform
the
following
calculation
with
the
Grand
Total
Memory
Selector
in
either
the
ON
or
OFF
position.
When
ON,
the
result
produced
when
you

EJ

added

grand

not
added.

Clearing
Calculations

clear
the
calculator

dead,

can
still
use

calculator
under
solar
power.
Remember,
however,
that
memory
contents
will
be
cleared
if
available
light
drops
below

certain
level

there
is
no
battery
power.

Auto
Power
Off
Function
This
calculator
is
not
equipped
with
an
OFF
switch.
Instead,
it
switches
power
off
au-
tomatically
about
six
minutes
after
the
last
key
operation
is
performed.
To
restore
power,
press
egy.
Even
if
the
Auto
Power
Off
function
operates
to
clear
memory,
the
contents
of
the
independent
memory
are
not
cleared.

Precautions
«Never
allow
this
calculator
to
be
exposed
to
direct
flame.
*Avoid
use
and
storage
under
temperature
extremes.
Do
not
place
the
calculator
in
direct
sunlight,
near
windows,
near
a
heater,
or
anywhere
else
where
it
is
subjected
to
high
heat.
Heat
can
lead
to
discoloration
or
warping
of
the
case,
and
can
even
damage
internal
circuitry.

Under
very
low
temperatures,
display
response
may
slow
down
or
fail
entirely.
This
condition
is
temporary
and
operation
should
return
under
normal
temperatures.

Avoid
use
and
storage
in
areas
subject
to
excessive
moisture,
dirt,
and
dust.
Direct
contact
with
liquids
and
dust
can
damage
internal
circuitry.

Avoid
dropping
the
calculator
and
otherwise
subjecting
it
to
severe
impact.
Never
bend
or
twist
the
case.

Never
try
to
take
the
calculator
apart.
*Do
not
use
a
pen,
pencil,
or
other
sharp
object
to
press
keys.

To
clean
the
exterior
of
the
calculator,
wipe
it
off
with
a
soft
cloth
dampened
in
a
weak
solution
of
a
mild
neutral
detergent
and
water.
Be
sure
to
wring
out
any
excess
moisture
from
the
cloth
before
wiping
off
the
calculator.
Never
use
benzene,
thinner,
or
any
other
volatile
agent
to
clean
the
calculator.
Doing
so
can
wipe
off
the
figures
printed
on
the
case
or
otherwise
damage
its
finish.
