Remote Management Controller
The first time you access the Dell™ Remote Management Controller, you are prompted to enter a
user name and password. Use “root” as the default value for both.
NOTE: When you log in using the “root” user name and password, you have full administrative
privileges. It is suggested that you change the user name and password after signing in for the first time.
The remote management controller offers six menu selections: System Information , Server
Health
, Configuration , Remote Control , Maintenance , and Languages .
System Information
The System Information menu selection allows you to:
• View system information (
System Information option).
• Obtain field replaceable unit (FRU) information (
List FRU option).
