HOW TO USE
Inser t hands bet ween the infra-red sensors at the top of the Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer to
initiat e operation and airow.
Move hands up and down slowly through the air to dry hands.
Remove hands and the unit will shut off.
CLEANING ADVICE
SURFACES
Make sure t hat all surfaces of the Dyson Airblad e
TM
hand dryer are cleaned daily with a soft
cloth and non-abrasive, non-caus tic cleaning solution.
During normal use, there may be some gathering of water underne ath the Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer. Please ensure that the unit and surrounding surfaces are wiped and cleaned
regularly.
MAINTENANCE ADVICE
AIR INLET
Regularly check the air inlet at the base of the Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer to ensure th at it is
free from dust, debris and other par ticles. If the air inlet gets dirty simply remove dust, debris
or other p articles.
Make sure t hat all of the Dy son Airblade
TM
hand dryer’s surfaces and the (4) sensor lenses are
wiped down daily to maintain uninterrupted operation of the unit.

TESTING
Make sure t hat power is sw itched on to th e unit.

TROUBLESHOOTING
IMPORTANT: TURN OFF POWER BEFORE SERVICING.

If you have a question about the Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer, please call the Dyson Helpline at
1-888 -DYSON-AB. Please m ake sure you have your serial number and purchase informat ion
ready. The serial number can be found on the rating plate of the hand dr yer.
Typically p roblems can be handled over the phone by our trained technical support staff.
If service is required (which may include replacing a defective part), our s taff will coordinate
and discuss options to have your machine serviced by Dyson or its authorized agent.
If your machine is covered under warranty, and the repair is covered, Dyson will provide
replacement parts at no cost to th e unit owner (which can be inst alled by Dyson or its
authorized agents for additional costs at prevailing rates) f or a period of 5 ye ars from date of
purchase (or date of delivery, whichever is later).
In addition, during the 1st year, this warrant y provides at no extra cost to unit owner all
the labor necessar y to ensure that your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer is in proper operating
condition.
All repair work pursuant to this warranty must be carried out by Dyson or its authorized agents.
Repairs or replacement of your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer under any Dyson warrant y will not
extend the period of any warranties herein.
The product owner is re sponsible for securing access to the pro duct during any Dyson warranty
repair. Any p arts replaced or removed by Dyson or its authorized agents during the rst year
will become the property of Dys on.
5 Year Parts Limited Warranty
All original factor y parts of your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer are warranted against defects in
material and workmanship when use d in accordanc e with the Owner’s Manual for a period of
5 years.
The 5 year parts limited warranty commences on the date of purchase (or on the date of
delivery, whichever is later).
The 5 year parts limited warranty will expire on th e fth anniversary of it s commencement. The
unit owner must provide proof of purchase before any replacement p arts will be provided for
repair pursuant to this warranty.
Without this proof of warranty, the owner is liable to pay for any parts on the produc t by Dyson
or its authorized agents at the prevailing rate.
All functional fac tory replacement par ts can be installed by Dyson or its authorized agents for
additional costs at the prevailing rates.
Additional 1st Year Labor Limited Warranty
This warranty commences on the dat e of purchase (or on the date of delivery, whichever is
later). The 1 year limite d labor warranty will expire on the 1st anniver sary of its commencement.
In addition, during the 1st year, this warrant y provides at no extra cost to unit owner all the
labor ne cessary to ensure that your Dyson Air blade
TM
hand dryer is in proper operating condition.
All repair work pursuant to this warranty must be carried out by Dyson or its authorized agents.
Any labor charges involved with defective repl acement parts after the 1st year limited labor
warrant y expires are the sole responsibility of the product owner.
THE 5 YE AR PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE ADDITIONAL 1ST YE AR
LABOR LIMITED WARRANTY ARE SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING:
What is not covered by the 5 year parts limited warranty or the 1 year l abor limited warranty.
Dyson shall not be liable for costs incurred as a result of:
Machines not purchas ed by the original purchaser or machines not purchased from an
authorized dealer.
Any dama ge (accidental or otherw ise) or faults caused by negligent use or care, misuse,
neglect, careless operation, failure to properly repair or maintain the machine, or handling the
machine in a manner not in accordance with the Dyson A irblade
TM
Owner ’s Manual.
Use of par ts not in accordance with the Owner’s Manual of the Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer.
Blockages, other than those cause d by soap and water in normal use. In case of other types of
blockag es please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the Owner’s Manual or call the Dyson
Helpline for advice.
External causes such as weather, electrical outages or power surges.
Repairs or alterations carried ou t by unauthorized parties or agents.
Any mat ter that results from improper, inaccurate or otherwise faulty installation.
Use of par ts not supplied by Dyson or not supplier approved by Dyson, or not installed by
Dyson or an authorize d agent, or not tted or installed in accordance with Dyson’s instruc tions.
Repairs or alterations not carried out by Dyson or an authorized service agent.
Failures caused by acts of God or circumstances outside of Dyson’s control.

Before any service can take place, th e terms of both warranties require that you contact the
Dyson H elpline with your serial number, and the date of p urchase or delivery (which ever
comes la ter).
Limited Warranty Information
Please keep your purchase receipt or information in a safe place to ensure that you have this
information available.
All covered repair work will be carrie d out by Dyson or its authorized agents.
Any replaced defec tive part s will become the property of Dyson during the rst year.
Service under any D yson warranty will not ex tend the period of any warranty.
If your machine is not functioning properly, please c all the Dyson Helpline at
1-888 -DYSON-AB. Most issues can be resolved over the telephone by our trained helpline
and technical suppor t staff. If this is not possible, D yson will arrange for your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer to be repaired pursuant to the terms of the appropriate Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer
applicable warrant y.
Other Limitations and Exclusions of Warranties
Except as expressly stated above, Dyson makes no representations or warranties relating to
your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer, and Dyson dis claims all warranties, express or implied,
statu tory or othe rwise, including but not limited to the warranty of merchantabilit y or tness for
a particular purpose. This limitation is not allowed by some states and so this limitation may not
apply to yo u.
Your remedy for breach of th e warranties is limited to the warranties de scribed above. Dyson
will not be liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including loss
of prots) you may incur in connection w ith your purchase and use of your Dyson Airblade
TM
hand dryer. This limitation is not allowed by some states and so this limitation may not apply
to you.
In no event shall Dyson be liable for any damages arising directly or indirectly from any tort
(including negligen ce or gross negligence) committed by Dyson or its afliates, age nts or
employe es, or for any bre ach of contract, fundamental or other wise.
These warranties give you specic l egal rights. You may have other rights which may vary
by state.
The Dyson warrantie s herein described are not transferabl e.
