Preparación del sistema de
combustible/motor para su almace-
namiento
El combustible puede echarse a perder y
dañar los componentes del sistema de
combustible si se almacena durante más de
30 días. Para mantener el combustible en
buen estado, utilice un estabilizante.
Si se añade estabilizador de combustible al
sistema de combustible, prepare y ponga en
marcha el motor para su almacenamiento
durante un largo período. Deje que el motor
funcione durante 10-15 minutos para que el
estabilizador circule por todo el sistema.
El combustible preparado adecuadamente
puede almacenarse hasta 24 meses.
NOTA: Si el combustible no se ha tratado con
un estabilizador de combustible, debe
drenarse en un contenedor aprobado para tal
fin. Deje que el motor funcione hasta que se
detenga por la falta de combustible. Para
mantener el combustible en buen estado, se
recomienda añadir estabilizante de combus-
tible en el recipiente de almacenamiento.
1. Cambie el aceite del motor.
2. Quite la bujía.
3. Vierta una cucharada (5-10cc) de aceite
de motor limpio o pulverice con un agente
protector adecuado en el cilindro.
4. Tire del arranque manual varias veces
para distribuir el aceite en el cilindro.
5. Vuelva a instalar la bujía.
6. Tire lentamente del arranque manual
hasta sentir resistencia. Esto cerrará las
válvulas para que la humedad no pueda
entrar en el cilindro del motor. Suelte
suavemente el arranque manual.

Pérdida de la visión. Es obligatorio llevar protección
ocular para evitar las salpicaduras procedentes de l
