• WARNING-Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,replacedam-
agedcordimmediately.
• WARNING-Toreducetheriskofelectricshock,donotuseex-
tension cord to connect unit to electric supply; provide a properly
locatedoutlet.
• OnebondinglugforUSmodels(twoforCanadianmodels)is
providedontheexternalsurface.Toreducetheriskofelectric
shock,connectthelocalcommonbondinggridintheareaofthe
swimming pool, spa, or hot tub to these terminals with an insu-
latedorbarecopperconductornotsmallerthan8AWGUS/6
AWGCanada.
• Alleldinstalledmetalcomponentssuchasrails,ladders,
drains, or other similar hardware within 3 meters of the pool, spa
or hot tub shall be bonded to the equipment grounding bus with
copperconductorsnotsmallerthan8AWGUS/6AWGCana-
da.
