Power Supply Instructions

During installation, be sure that AC power is NOT connected to the Power Supply.
Power Supply Slots:
■ Must be the same power supply type within a switch. Do not mix PoE and PoE+ power supplies within the
same switch.
■ Before installing or removing a power supply, disconnect AC power.
■ Refer to the switch installation guide for the proper power cord.
1. Remove the slot cover plate, if installed.
2. Align the power supply in the switch slot and insert
it until the external wall of the power supply is flush
with the switch chassis.
3. Tighten the retaining screws to secure the power
supply to the switch.
