3. Remove the graphics fan (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the graphics fan.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the heat sink:
1. In the order indicated on the heat sink, remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.2 screws (1) that secure the heat
sink to the system board.
2. Swing the front edge of the heat sink (2) up until it rests at an angle.
