3. Remove the ngerprint reader board from the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the ngerprint reader board.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures and illustrations.

Before removing the heat sink, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 33).
Remove the heat sink:
1. In the order indicated on the heat sink, loosen the six captive Phillips screws (1) that secure the heat
sink to the computer.
