The HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader
provides cost-effective, high density automated
backup as a perfect entry point to unattended back-
up for small and medium businesses, workgroups or
remote offices. With a compressed capacity of up
to 6.4 TB* using an Ultrium 920 Tape Drive, the
1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader provides complete peace
of mind. No more struggling to remember to
change tapes or start backup programs.
The 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader is available with a
choice of LTO tape drives including an Ultrium 920
or Ultrium 448 or Ultrium 232 Tape Drive and
holds up to eight data cartridges for a weeks worth
of backup. In addition your media can now be
more easily managed with the standard bar code
reader and two 4-slot removable magazines.
Designed in a compact 1U form factor, the HP
StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader is equally
at home in a data center rack or on a desk top
next to the office server. The autoloader can be
used as either direct-attached backup for multiple
servers, or across a LAN with simplified remote
management through a browser-based interface
reducing dependencies on local IT staff.
