Before leaving the factory, this remote control uses 1000 as the default brand code, which directly works
with most different Gree and Midea A/C models in the market. (There may be a few models where the
default code does not work, and users should follow the steps in <Setting Code Suitable for your A/C
on the Remote Control>)
IMPORTANT
SETTING CODE SUITABLE FOR YOUR A/C ON THE REMOTE CONTROL
This remote control provides 3 different methods to set the code for different A/C brands and models:
1. Power on the A/C manually and point the remote control at the A/C receiver window.
2. Press and hold the button corresponding to your brand, (e.g., LG corresponds to “Temperature+”) until the
A/C makes a “beep” sound and automatically switches on, and then immediately release the button.
3. Test if the buttons function normally. If yes, complete the setting, if not, repeat Step 2

Air Speed Control Automatic Wind Direction Manual Wind Direction
1. Find the three-digit code corresponding
to your A/C brand (e.g., LG code is “600”).
Manually power on the A/C, and point the
remote control to A/C receiver window.
2. Press and hold “SET” and press
“On/Off” at the same time. Release the
buttons when the code flashes in the
remote control screen.
3. Press and hold “Temperature+” for the
code to change rapidly, and release it for
the code to pause; or you can press
“Temperature+” or “Temperature–”
intermittently until you set the appropriate
code (e.g., “600”).
4. Press “SET” once to quit after the A/C
makes a “beep” sound and automatically
switches on. Test if the buttons function
normally. If yes, complete the setting; if
not, repeat steps 1-4.
The A/C will make a “beep” sound and
automatically switch on if the code is
correct, if not, try the next code in the code
table, e.g., 601.
Manual code search
1. Power on the A/C manually and point
the remote control to A/C receiver
window.
2. Press and hold “SET” and press
“On/Off” at the same time, and release
the buttons when the code flashes in the
remote control screen.
3. Intermittently press “Temperature+” for
the code to increase one by one until the
A/C makes a “beep” sound and
automatically switches on.
4. Press “SET” once to quit. Test if the
buttons function normally. If yes, complete
the setting; if not, repeat steps 2-4.
To lock: Press and hold “SET” and press “Manual Wind Direction” buttons at the same time
until the screen display the child lock icon. This means the child lock is operational. Release
the buttons. When locked, code search and other settings will not work, however the remote
control functions normally.
To unlock: Press and hold “SET”, and press “Manual Wind Direction” button at the same
time until the child lock icon disappears from the screen. The control is now unlocked

Press and hold “SET” + “Air Speed Control”
buttons at the same time. The screen will
display all the information after about 3s.
Release the buttons to successfully restore the
control to factory settings.
To restore to factory settings
You must point the
remote control
towards the A/C
receiver window.
