T45V TORCH LEAD REPLACEMENT
2 Field Service Bulletin
Disassemble the handle and remove the torch from the lead
1. Disconnect the torch from the power supply. Remove the consumables from the torch.
2. Use a T10 Torx driver or a flat-blade screwdriver to remove the 5 screws from the torch handle. Set the screws aside.
Open the handle slowly, taking care that the trigger and trigger spring do not fly out of the right side of the handle.
3. Carefully remove the trigger and trigger spring and set them aside.
4. The torch head fits snugly into the right side of the handle. Slide the cap-sensor switch off the mounting post in the
handle and gently press the handle away from the torch head to remove it.
5. Lift the start switch off of the two mounting posts in the right side of the handle.
Attach the torch body to the new lead
1. Snap together the connector (blue and orange wires) from the new lead to the cap sensor switch connector.
