Soft ground to work on.
Why? Assembling your IKEA Mammut children’s chair directly on hard
ground like tile or concrete could damage your pieces. It is best to
work on carpet or a large rug.
Part I. Assembling the seat and legs.
1. Unpack the square seat (A), four legs (B), and four leg caps (C)
from your IKEA package.
2. Lay the seat (A) on the ground so that side A2 is facing up.
3. Insert narrow leg end (B1) into corner leg hole (A2A).
4. Repeat 3 more times until all narrow leg ends (B1) are in a
corner leg hole (A2A).
Note: Align line B1A with the arrow at each leg hole (A2A). This will
guarantee the stability of the IKEA Mammut children’s chair.
5. Place a leg cap (C) onto the wide end of a leg (B2). Be sure to
align the slit in the leg cap rim (C1) with the wedge (B2A) inside
the wide end of the leg (B2).
6. Repeat 3 more times until all wide leg ends (B2) are covered
with a cap (C).
Note: Apply pressure to the wide leg ends (B2) to secure the legs (B) to
the seat (A). But first ensure line B1A is aligned with the arrow at each leg
hole (A2A).
