As for the
Paint and the Anti-Perforation coverages, you
must:
Carefully read the vehicle care and
maintenance instructions given
in the Owner’s
Manual;
Arrange for an INEOS Dealer to carry out the
annual paint inspection
and document it on the
record conrming maintenance;
Wash the Covered Vehicle regularly;
Remove salt, sand, ice melting agents, road and
oil tar, tree
sap, bird droppings and other
potentially harmful materials immediately when
they are found on the Covered Vehicle; and
Promptly repair any damage to the surface
nish of the
Covered Vehicle at your own
expense.

FEDERAL EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY
In addition to the “Warranty Limitations and Disclaimers” and the
“Provisions Applicable to All INEOS Limited Warranties,” the below
provisions are applicable to the Federal Emission Control
Warranty.
Federal Emission Control Warranty
What is Covered by this Warranty and for How Long?
There are two parts to this warranty: an Emission Defect Warranty
and an Emission Performance Warranty.
Emission Defect Warranty
INEOS warrants that your Covered Vehicle:
Was designed, built and equipped to conform at the time
of sale with applicable federal emissions standards.
Is free from defects in materials and manufacturer’s
workmanship that may
cause the vehicle to fail to meet
these standards.
Federal regulations require that this warranty be in eect for two
years or 24,000 miles from the In-Service Date, whichever occurs
rst. Additionally, components marked “(8/80)” in the COVERED
PARTS LIST below have coverage of eight years or 80,000 miles
from the In-Service Date, whichever occurs rst.
Emission Performance Warranty
Some states and
localities have established vehicle inspection and
maintenance (“I/M”) programs to encourage proper vehicle
maintenance. If an EPA-approved I/M program is in force in your
area, you are eligible for Emission Performance Warranty
coverage.
