5. The first time you turn the TV on, it will go straight
into the First Time Installation menu. Please ensure
the aerial is plugged in.
Press the
buttons to highlight your language
then press OK.
6. Press the buttons to select your country.
7. Press the
button to highlight Teletext Language,
then press the
buttons to select your language.
The majority of people will want this set to West.
8. Press the
button to highlight Scan Encrypted (pay-
per-view) Channel, then press the
buttons to
select On or Off.
Select Broadcast Type
In this section you can tell your TV what to tune in.
Digital Aerial is TV through your aerial (Freeview) this is automatically set to On for UK customers.
Cable is if you have cable wired directly into your TV NOT through a set top box like Virgin.
Analogue is for analogue devices that you may have connected to your TV e.g. a video recorder.
9. Press the
button to highlight Digital Aerial, then
press the
buttons to select On or Off. On will only
search for the digital channels.
10. Press the
button to highlight Select favourite
network type, then press the
buttons to select
Digital Aerial, Digital Cable or Analogue. This can
only be chosen if you have selected more than one
Broadcast type. Confirm these settings by pressing
OK.
11. Press the buttons to highlight Home Mode then
press OK.
