Cleaning the RADF
Cleaning the Left Partition Glass
Keep the glass clean; otherwise soil marks may be copied, resulting in dark lines on the
copies.
Raise the document feeder, and clean the left partition glass with a clean soft cloth.
Cleaning the RADF Platen Guide Cover
The RADF platen guide cover should be kept clean; otherwise soil marks may be copied or
the original size cannot be detected correctly.
Raise the document feeder, and clean the RADF platen guide cover with a clean soft cloth.
Never use paint solvents, such as benzene or thinners, to clean the RADF
platen guide cover.
