Clearance between Center Pin and Pin Support
1. Measure the center pin O.D. with an outside micrometer.
2. Measure the pin support I.D. of the front axle with a cylinder
gauge.
3. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace it.

1. Measure the knuckle shaft O.D. at several points with an outside
micrometer. (The knuckle shaft tends to show concentrated
wear.)
2. Similarly, measure the knuckle shaft bushing I.D. with a cylinder
gauge.
3. If the clearance exceeds the allowable limit, replace.

0.040 to 0.105 mm
