CHECKING, DISASSEMBLING AND SERVICING

DISASSEMBLING
AND ASSEMBLING
Draining Transmission Oil
1. Place an oil pan underneath the drain plug.
2. Unscrew the drain plug (1), and drain transmission oil.
• IMPORTANT
• Use
the specified transmission oil.
Refer to "LUBRICANTS, FUEl AND COOLING WATER". (See
page S.G-2)

Seat and Fender
,. Disconnect the 2P connector (2) from the seat switch.
2. Remove the seat (1) with the seat adjuster.
3. Unscrew the fender mounting screws, and remove the
fender (3).

Seat Support, Fuel Tank and Cylinder Hose
1. Disconnect the 1 P connector and wiring (ground) from the
fuel level sensor (2).
2. Unscrew
the seat support mounting screws, and remove the
seat support (1) from the frame.
3. Disconnect the overflow pipe. [G1700'G1800'G1900]
4. Disconnect the fuel pipe from the fuel filter, and remove the
fuel tank (4).
5. Disconnect the cylinder hose (3) from the control valve
adaptor.

1. Disconnect the 1 P connector and wiring (ground) from the
fuel level sensor (6).
2. Disconnect the 4P connector from the relay (3).
3. Disconnect two 1 P connectors from the horn (2).
4. Unscrew
the seat support mounting screws, and remove the

5. Disconnect the overflow pipe. [G 1700'G 1800-G 1900]
(3) Relay
6. Disconnect the fuel pipe from the fuel filter, and remove the
fuel tank (5).
7. Disconnect the cylinder hose (4) from the control valve
adaptor.
