If the paper tears during removal, be sure to remove any loose scraps
of paper from the machine inside. Scraps of paper left in the machi

ne could cause subsequent jamming.
•
Discard the paper that jammed in the optional document finisher
or 3,000-sheet capacity document finisher. The page which jam has
occurred will be printed again.
•
CAUTION Never use sharp tools like knifes, screwdrivers or cutters to
clear paperjams. Be aware of rings or watches as well.
•
CAUTION Do no store paperclips or staples on any device.
•
CAUTION High voltage is present in the charger section. Take suffi-
cient care when working in this area, as there is a danger of electrical
hock.
•
CAUTION The fixing unit of this product is extremely hot. Take
sufficient care when working in this area, as there is a danger
of getting burned.
