ENGLISHINSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
TO WIRE:
1. Cut end of cord even and clean. DO NOT slit or remove insulation.
ATTACH TO PARALLEL CORDS ONLY. CAUTION: DO NOT strip wires.
2. Remove blade holder from cover and thread cord through opening in cover.
3. Spread blades apart and push cord into opening in blade holder all the way
(about as far as length of blade holder).
4. Squeeze by pushing where shown on tops of wire piercing prongs until blades are
almost parallel. Slide blade-a cord assembly into cover until blades lock in place.
5. Alternate assembly method: Place plug against hard surface with blades facing
upward and press downward with a screwdriver or similar object between blades till
blades lock in place.
6. To Disassemble: While squeezing blades together, gently pry blade holder out of
cover with small screwdriver pushed into cord set.

are no other or implied warranties of any kind, including merchantability and fitness for
a particular purpose, but if any implied warranty is required by the applicable jurisdiction, the
duration of any such implied warranty, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose,
is limited to two years. Leviton is not liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential
damages, including without limitation, damage to, or loss of use of, any equipment, lost
sales or profits or delay or failure to perform this warranty obligation. The remedies provided
herein are the exclusive remedies under this warranty, whether based on contract, tort or otherwise.

- use on cords on heat-generating appliances (toasters, heaters, rated above
1250 watts).
- use on cloth covered cords (as on irons, etc.).
