3. Die 4 Schrauben lösen und die
Gummipfropfen etwas drehen, um sie
zusammen mit den Schrauben abzunehmen.
Die 4 Schrauben und den Schraubenschlüssel
für späteren Gebrauch aufbewahren.
Die Transportsicherungsschrauben müssen vor
jedem Transport des Geräts wieder angebracht
werden.

beiliegenden Kappen verschließen.

The appliance has an unbalance detection
and correction system. If individual heavy
articles are loaded (ex. bath mat, both robe,
etc.), this system may stop spinning or even
interrupt the spin cycle altogether.
If the laundry is still too wet at the end of the
cycle, add smaller articles of laundry to
balance the load and repeat the spin cycle.
• Is the door opened or not
completely closed?
• Water overfills due to the faulty water
valve.
• Water level sensor has malfunctioned.
• Over load in motor.
• The washer experienced a power failure.
Check another tap in the house.
Fully open tap.
Straighten hose(s).

Safe ty instru ctions fo r use
Read all instructions and explanations of the inst allation before use. Follow the instructions carefully. Keep the operating
instructions handy for later use. If the appliance is sold or passed on then ensure that the new owner always receives these
operating instruction s. The following warnings must be strictly observed for safety reas ons. They must be read before instal-
ling the appliance and put ting it into operation.
Intend ed use: This appliance has been designed exclusively for use in dr y-interior households. Use the appliance o nly
with cold drinking water and o nly for washing textiles with washing detergents des igned for washing machines. Every
other use is improper and may lead to injuri es, whereby the liability of the manufacturer will cea se.
This ap pliance may only be used by adults. Do not allow children to touch t he controls or to play with the product.
Never mo dify the appliance on your own, as this is dangerous .
This ap pliance is heavy. Transporting with care.
Remove all pa ckaging and transport bolts before usin g the appliance. Otherwise serious damage may res ult.
All ins tallation work must be carried out by a qualifi ed fi tter or technician.
Have elec trical connections done by a qualifi ed electrician.
Never pla ce the appliance on the power cord.
If the a ppliance is placed on a carpet then place the feet so th at air can circulate underneath the appliance.
Alway s unplug the machine and turn off the water supply afte r use. Disconnect appliance by pulling only the plug - never
disconnect by pulling the power co rd. Never touch the plug with wet fi ngers o r hands.
Do not over load the appliance.
Wash only mac hine-washable textiles. If you have doubts regard ing this, then observe the markings on the lab el.
Never pla ce electrical heaters, candles etc. in the vicinit y of the appliance. They could cause the applianc e to ignite or
parts to warp.
Protec t the appliance from wet and damp. Otherwise, th ere is danger of electric shock and fi re.
Conn ect the appliance to a suitable wall socket for 120V. Never use an ext ension cord or double adapter.
Empt y all pockets. Hard or sharp objects such a s coins, needles, nails, screws or stones may cause serio us damage.
Unbalanced mass may create he avy vibrations. If heavy vibrations re main also without load, call for an authorized
customer service.
Do not wa sh or dry articles that have been cleaned in, washe d in, soaked in, or dabbed with combustible or explos ive
substances (such as wa x, oil, paint, gasoline, degreasers, dry-clea ning solvents, kerosene, etc.). This may result in fi re
or explosion.
Never ins ert products coated with mineral oils (e.g. nylon co ating, plastic belts, etc. ) into the machine. If a stain rem over
has been used then make sure that t he solvent has been carefully washed out before inser ting the clothes into the
appliance. Oil may remain in the tub af ter a whole cycle resulting in fi re during dr ying. So, do not load oily clothes.
Do not o perate the appliance at locations where fl ammable substances ar e present such as oil, benzene or highly
infl ammable ga s. Such materials may cause fi re or explosion. N ever use combustible detergents.
Only add t he prescribed amount of softener. Excessive amount s may damage the clothes.
Af ter washing, keep the drum door open to protect the d oor seal.
Make sur e that all water has run off before opening the door. Never open t he door if water still remains. Danger of
scalding.
Animals a nd children may get into the washing machine. So always check the applian ce before using it.
During wa shing, the glass door becomes very hot. Keep c hildren away from the appliance when in operation.
Never t ry to repair the machine yourself. Incorrect repa irs may result in injuries and/or serious defects to the ma chine.
The pr oduct should be serviced and repaired only by t he authorised customer service using origina l replacement parts.
When disposing of your old machine, th e power cable must be capped and the door lock mus t be made unusable in order to
protect children.
When pl acing on a carpeted fl oor, make sure that the opening in t he socket is not blocked.
If the a ppliance has been under water then contact the cus tomer service. There is danger of electric sh ock and fi re.
The c over cup of the fi lter as well as the dispenser drawe r may not be opened during the operation.
Keep all wa shing powder and detergents away from children. Danger of pois oning.

• The appliance is fi tted with transit bolts to prevent internal
damage during transpor t. Be careful, heavy load!
• Packing and all transi t bolts must be removed before using
the washing machine.
• When unpacking the b ase, be sure to remove the additional
packing support in th e middle of the base packing.
Store original packing fo r future move.
Dispose of packing materia l according to local regulations.
Unscrew the 4 bolts
using the spanner
supplied.
Keep the 4 bolts and the spanner for the future use. Re t transit bolts before transporting the appliance.
Level fl oo r: Permissible fl oor gradient under en tire washing machine
is 1˚ .
Power socket: Must b e within 100 cm of either side of location of
washing machine. Do not overload the so cket with more than one
appliance.
Additional Cle arance: For wall, fl oor and do or space is needed.
(10cm: rear / 2cm:right & left side). Do not place or st ore laundry pro-
ducts on top of the washing machine a t any times. They can damage
the fi nish or con trols of the machine.
1. Do not use an extension cord or double adapter.
2. Have damaged supply cords replaced by the manufacturer or its service agents or a similarly quali ed person
to prevent danger.
3. Always unplug the machine and turn off the water supply after use.
4. Connect the machine to an earthed socket in accordance with current wiring regulations.
5. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is easily accessible.
Repairs to the washing machine must only be carried out by quali ed personnel. Repairs carried out by inexpe-
rienced persons may cause injury or serious malfunctioning. Contact your local service centre.
Do not install your washing machine in rooms where temperature below freezing may occur. Frozen hoses may burst
under pressure. The electronic control unit may become unreliable at temperatures below freezing point.
If the appliance is delivered in the winter months and temperatures are below freezing: Leave the washing machine
standing at room temperature for a few hours before putting it into operation.
• Two rubbe r seals are supplied with the water inlet hoses. They are us ed for preventing water leaks.
• M ake sure the connection to taps is tight enough.
• P eriodically check the condition of the hose and r eplace the hose if necessary.
• M ake sure that there is no kink on the hose and that it is not cru shed.
When your washing ma chine has two valves:
• T he inlet hose with the red connector is for the hot wate r tap.
• I f the washing machine has two valves, power saving is achieve d through using hot valve.
Water supply pressure must be bet ween 1.0-10 bar (100kPa~1000kPa)
Don’t strip or crossthre ad when connecting inlet hose to the valve.
If the water supply pressure i s more than 1000kPa, a decompression
device should be installed.
• The drain hos e should not be placed higher than 100 cm above the fl oor.
• Proper secur ing of the drain hose will protect the fl oor from damage due to any water leakage.
• If the drain ho se is too long do not force back into the washing machine. This will cau se unusual noise.
Proper level-adjustment of the wa shing ma-
chine prevents excessive noise and v ibration.
Install the appliance on a s olid and level fl oor
surface, preferably in a co rner of the room.
If the fl oor is u neven, adjust feet as required.
(Do not insert pie ces of wood etc. under the
feet). Make sure that all four feet are s table
and resting on the fl oor. Then check that
the appliance is perfe ctly level. (Use a spirit
level).
Safe ty instuc tions for the i nstallatio n
Install or store appliance where it will not be exposed to sub-zero temperatures or exposed to the weather. Fit ground of the
washing machine correctly to conform with all statutory regulations and ordinances. Ensure that the base opening is free from
obstruction by carpeting if the washing machine is installed on a carpeted oor. In countries where there is a risk of cockroach
infestation or other vermin, pay particular attention to keep the appliance and its surroundings in a clean condition at all times.
Any damage which may be caused by cockroaches or other vermin is not covered by the appliance guarantee.
CAUTION abou t positioning the appliance
Install the washing machine on a fl at hard fl oor. Make sure that air circulation around the washing machine is
not impeded by carpets, rug etc.
Never try to correct any unevenness in the fl oor using pieces of wood, cardboard or similar materials under the washing machine.
If it is not possible to position the washing machine away from a gas cooker or coal burning stove, an insulation panel
(85x60cm) covered with aluminum foil on the side facing the cooker or stove, must be inserted between the two appliances.
The washing machine must not be installed in rooms where the temperature may drop below 0°C.
Please ensure that when the washing machine is installed an engineer can gain easy access in the event of a breakdown.
Adjust all four feet using the transit bolt spanner provided to ensure that the appliance is stable, with 20mm clearnace between
the top of the washing machine and underside of the worktop.
CAUTION abou t the power cord
We recommend connecting most appliances to a dedicated circuit. That is, a single outlet supplying power only to the appliance
concerned, without any additional outlets or branch circuits. Check the speci cations of this owners manual. Do not overload
wall sockets. Overloaded wall sockets, loose or damaged wall sockets or extension cords, frayed power cords, damaged or
cracked wire insulation are dangerous. Any of these conditions could result in electric shock or re. Periodically examine the cord
of your appliance, and if its appearance indicates damage or deterioration, unplug it, discontinue use of the appliance, and have
the cord replaced with an exact replacement part by an authorized servicer. Protect the power cord from physical or mechanical
abuse, such as being twisted, kinked, pinched, squashed in a jamb of a door, or walked upon. Pay particular attention to plugs,
wall outlets, and the point where the cord exits the appliance. We recommend to use a residual current operated
device in the mains supply.
CAUTION abou t location and moving
This equipment is not designed for maritime use or for use mobile installations such as caravans, aircraft etc. Turn off the stop-
cock if the machine is to be left for any length of time (e.g. if you are going on holiday), especially if there is no oor drain (gully)
in the immediate vicinity. If relocating the appliance use the original packing material. Disable the door lock to prevent young
children becoming trapped inside. Packaging material (e.g. plastic lm, Styrofoam) can be dangerous for children. There is a risk
of suffocation! Keep all packaging well away from children.
CAUTION abou t the fl oor surface
The installation surface must be clean, dry and level.
Install washing machine on a fl at hard fl oor.
Proper placement and levelling of the washing machine ensure long, regular and reliable operation.
The washing machine must be perfectly level and fi rmly in position.
It must not “see-saw” across corners under load.
The installation surface must be clean, free from fl oor wax and other lubricant coatings.
Do not allow the feet of the washing machine to get wet. If feet of the washing machine get wet, slipping may occur.

If after completing co nnection water leaks from the hose, repeat the s ame steps. Use the most conventional
type of tap for water sup ply. In case the faucet is square or too big, remove the spacing ring be fore inserting
the tap into the adaptor.
