Apply Makita grease on the following rotating/sliding surfaces before assembling.
Up/Down shaking fulcrum of Blade case: Blade case, Arm, Pipe16-90
Arm rotation part: Arm, Arm holder complete, ScrewM10
L/R rotating support and sliding parts of Turn base: Turn base,
Boss in the center of base, Slide plate, Tip of Grip32
Rotating and Open/Close parts of Safety cover: Center plate,Spiral spring 26,Tip of Link plate
(2)ASSEMBLY/DISASSEMBLY OF BLADE CASE( Motor part in the body)
[Disassembly]
Remove Blade , Safety cover, and Dust nozzle before disassembling.
1) Lower fully Blade case (Motor part in the body), and push Stopper pin in.
2) Remove Hex. socket head bolt M6 fixing Link plate , and loosen Hex. socket head bolt M6x10 fixing Pipe 16-90.
3) Gripping Blade case (Motor part in the body) with hand, pull Stopper pin and raise the body slowly. Where Torsion
spring 28 does not work, pull Pipe 16-90 and take off Blade case from Arm.
[Assembly]
Reverse procedure of disassembly.

Blade case
Pipe 16-90
Take off
Link plate
Turn base:0°
Turn base:35.3°to left
Blade:30°
