Push the exhaust ducting from the
cooker hood onto the motor unit stub,
and secure with a hose clip.
The motor is set up for use with
C 150 mm ducting. A reducing collar
can be used on the suction side if
C 125 mm ducting is to be used. This
item is available to order from the Miele
Spare Parts Dept.
^
Ducting C 150 mm is then connected
to the exhaust side.
^
If the exhaust air is to be ducted into
the open air, a telescopic wall vent kit
can be used.
This is available to order as an
optional accessory from your dealer
or the Miele Spare Parts Dept.
If the motor is installed vertically with
the exhaust ducting venting over a
roof, a roof vent kit DDF 125/150 or
similar must be used to prevent
rainwater penetrating the exhaust
opening.
^
Connect the control cable plug
connectors.
^ Use the extension cable supplied to
extend the length of the connection
cable if necessary.
Equipotential bonding is required if
the control cable is to be extended
by more than the length of the
extension cable supplied (see
"Electrical connection").
^
If required connect the earth lead to
connection point b in the housing.
