Before using for the first time
Flush out any residual test
water still in the machine as
follows:
Do not load the machine.
Add a little detergent to compart-
ment
j.
Switch on the machine.
Press the “Short wash” selector.
Select the “COTTONS 60°C” pro-
gramme.
This operation will flush out any
residues.
Water hardness reminder
The amount of detergent will depend
on various factors including the
water hardness level in your area.
The dial located in the detergent dis-
penser box can be turned to the rele-
vant setting as a water hardness re-
minder, (using 1 = soft, 4 = very
hard).
Use the spatula supplied with the
machine. It is located at the rear of
the dispenser drawer.
If you do not know how hard the water
is in your catchment area, please con-
tact your local water authority.
