Additional Required & Optional Items
10 AWG (5.26 mm

module and preferred optical cabling
Optional: 19mm (3/4”) exible conduit/
hose tubing and hose-clamps for
additional cable protection
1. Mounting
Tightly attach the supplied sliding & pivot
brackets to mounting pole in desired up or
downtilt orientation.
2. Grounding
Attach 10 AWG ground wire with pre-termi-
nated ring terminal to the grounding screw.

3. Dedicated 48VDC Power
Thread an 18 AWG 2-pin cable through
one the supplied IP67 gland/cap.
Strip the wire jackets approximately
6-7mm, and attach to the supplied
power connector terminals (+/- indicated
in diagram). Tighten the terminal screws.
Note: reverse polarization will not dam-
age the device, however proper +/- wir-
ing is required to apply power.
Insert and snap the power plug and
cable into the PWR port.
Attach and tighten gland, attach the
rubber insert to the cable, pushing it into
the gland, then tighten the cap.
4. Gigabit Ethernet or PoE
Insert a shielded CAT6/6A Ethernet cable
through the IP67 gland/cap. Connect the
cable to ETH port. Attach and tighten gland,
attach the rubber insert to the cable, pushing
it into the gland, then tighten the cap.

AWG
PoE powering is optional and can be used as
primary or as redundant/backup power to
the 48VDC. Ethernet connection is NOT
required if SFP+ optical ber is being used.
5. Optional Flexible Conduit
The provided IP67 gland caps are designed
to accommodate optional 19mm (3/4”)
outdoor hose conduit/tubing, and hose-type
clamps to secure the tubing. Both can be
procured at most hardware stores.

6. Optional SFP+ Optical Fiber
Two SFP+ ports are provided to accom-
modate standard SFP+ 10 Gbps optical
modules, and bult-in switching between the
ports for interconnectivity to other devices.
Visit support for additional SFP+ module and
conguration information.
7. Seal All Unused Ports
For any unused ports, tightly screw in the
supplied port sealing caps to maintain envi-
ronmental integrity of the system.
8. Unlock and Congure
Visit start.mimosa.co to unlock the device.
Warnings, Warranty, Compliance
& Regulatory Statements
Mimosa by Airspan (“Mimosa”) products are provided by Airspan
Networks Inc. (“Airspan”).
Export Control
These commodities, technology, or software were exported from the
United States in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations.
Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
Important Safety and Handling Information
Failure to follow any of the safety instructions in this guide, instructions
on any Airspan provided packaging, and heed WARNINGS (indicated
by ), could result in re, electric shock, other injury or death, and
incur damage to this product or other property and void the product’s
Limited Warranty.
There are no End User serviceable parts inside the equipment.
Read all operating and safety instructions contained herein and accom-
panying the product as provided by Airspan:
Electrical Safety Information
Do not operate this product in any location that can be sub-
merged by water.
Do not install or maintain this product during the presence of an
electrical storm to avoid risk of electric shock from lightning. Fail-
ure to ground the device according to the included instructions
using shielded CAT6/6A Ethernet cabling could lead to serious
injury or death.
Installation of the product must comply with local and national
electrical codes.
Power specications for connected devices are indicated on the
device’s own label or documentation. Connecting to any power
source that does not meet the voltage, frequency and current
requirements listed may damage the power supply or product,
and pose a re hazard.
Mandatory Grounding Instructions
IMPORTANT: Failure to properly ground the device using the following
instructions will violate the limited warranty conditions in this document.
Required Step 1- Direct Grounding on the Device:
A minimum grounding wire of 10 AWG (5.26 mm
2
) with a secured
grounding terminal, and shorter in length than 1 meter is required. It is
NOT supplied with the product.
1. Ensure that NO power is being supplied to the product.
2. Locate the Ground point screw next to the Ground icon
on the
device
3. Remove the provided Ground Screw
4. Thread the ground wire terminal and ground wire meeting the above
specications over the screw removed in the previous step.
5. Replace and tighten the screw with the threaded ground terminal
and cable at the product Ground point.
6. Secure the other end of the grounding cable to the properly
grounded structure (pole, tower, mast, etc.) meeting local and national
electrical regulations and codes.
End User Product Warranty
The product is warranted against defects in material, and workmanship
for a period of twenty four (24) months from the date of rst unlock
of the product. Please go to www.mimosa.co/warranty to determine
whether your product is in warranty.
The sole responsibility of Airspan under this warranty shall be limited to
the repair or replacement of in-warranty defective product, at Airspan’s
sole option.
Out of warranty products shipped to Airspan will not be returned.
This warranty does not cover costs associated with the removal and/or
reinstallation of the product for repair nor for any parts that are readily
replaced in normal use.
Airspan or its designated partner will repair or replace product found to
be defective during the dened warranty period.
The End User is responsible for delivering defective product in
accordance with the Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes
published at www.mimosa.co/legal/RMA
Limitation of Warranty
The product warranty is invalidated if the RMA product is altered or
otherwise tampered with in a manner that modies the product from
its original shipping conguration and/or form factor, and could violate
the End User’s authority to operate the equipment, unless said activity
was performed by or with the written authorization of an Airspan
representative.
Modications include:
(a) External surfaces that have been painted, labeled, or otherwise
modied from the original shipping condition.
(b) Modications of the product with third party hardware, rmware,
and/or software.
(c) Any product subjected to abnormal physical or electric stress,
including, but not limited to, lightning strikes, negligence, accident,
or misuse.
(d) Any product damaged due to incorrect installation, including,
but not limited to, improper product mounting, cabling meeting
minimum requirements in this manual, cabling defects or connection
to power.
(e) Failure induced by connected third party products.
Installing the product outdoors without the use of minimum CAT6/6A
shielded Ethernet cable, improper grounding, or failure to ground
the product as instructed in this guide will void the End User Product
warranty.
