The primary function of the AT810 shaver is to provide a close and comfortable shave, whether wet or dry. It utilizes a "Lift and Cut System" with individually floating heads that adapt to the contours of the face, ensuring efficient hair capture and removal. The shaver is designed for both wet and dry use, meaning it can be used with shaving foam or gel for a refreshing wet shave, or for a quick dry shave. It features an integrated trimmer for detailing and maintaining sideburns or mustaches. The device is powered by a rechargeable battery, offering cordless operation for convenience and flexibility during use.
Operating the AT810 is straightforward. To power the shaver on or off, the electronic ON/OFF button needs to be pressed once. For optimal performance and to prolong the shaver's lifespan, it is recommended to charge the device completely before its first use and only when indicated by the LED charge indicators. The charging process involves connecting the shaver to the supplied AC charger and plugging it into any 100V-240V AC outlet. The shaver's display will indicate when the battery is charging. Once the charge indicator flashes three continuous white lights, the shaver is fully charged and should be unplugged.
The shaver head assembly is designed for easy access and cleaning. It features a "Shaver Head Release Button" which, when pressed, opens the hair chamber. The LED display provides crucial information about the shaver's status, including a charging indicator, a full charge indicator, a low battery indicator, and an indicator for three continuous white lights, signaling a full charge. Additionally, there is a shaver head replacement indicator, which illuminates to remind the user when it's time to replace the shaving heads for continued optimal performance.
The integrated trimmer is a convenient feature for precise grooming. To use it, the shaver should be turned off, and the spring-release trimmer switch pushed down. After use, the trimmer can be closed by pressing it down.
Proper maintenance is crucial for ensuring the longevity and performance of the AT810 shaver. Cleaning should be performed after each use. The shaver must always be switched OFF, unplugged, and the power cord removed before cleaning. To clean the shaver head assembly, the Shaver Head Release Button is pressed to open it. Both the inside of the shaving heads and the hair chamber should be rinsed under hot water. The outside of the shaver head assembly should also be cleaned by running it under hot water. It is important never to clean, remove, or replace the head assembly while the motor is on. Regular cleaning is emphasized as it guarantees better shaving results.
Several precautions are highlighted for cleaning: the shaver should not be immersed in water. It is normal for water to drip out of the base of the shaver while rinsing the shaving heads. Replacing the shaving heads is another key maintenance task to ensure consistent shaving quality. The shaver head replacement indicator will signal when this is necessary. The process involves turning the shaver off, removing the charging plug and power cord, and then pressing the Shaver Head Release Button to open the Shaver Head Assembly. The shaving unit is then pulled off the shaver, and a lock is turned counterclockwise to unlock it. The old shaving heads are removed, and new ones are placed into the shaving unit. The frame is replaced, and the lock is turned clockwise until it clicks into place. Finally, the notch of the shaving unit is inserted into the slot at the top of the shaver, and the on/off button is pressed and held for at least 5 seconds to reset the shaver head replacement indicator. If the shaving unit does not close smoothly, it is advised to ensure the shaving heads are properly inserted and the retaining frame is locked.
The AT810 shaver comes with a charger and an operation guide.
