In some
countries
or regions, the
shape of
the power plug

power
outlet may
sometimes
differ from
that shown
in the
explanatory
drawings.
However, the method
of
connecting and
operating the
unit is the same.

LINE VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH
Only multi-voltage models are provided with this
switch. U.S., Canadian, European, U.K., and Aus-
tralian models are not provided with it.
Mains voltages in Saudi Arabia are 1 27V and 220V
only. Never use this model with 1 10V setting in Sau-
di Arabia.
The
line voltage selector
switch is on the rear panel. Before the
model is shipped from the
factory, this switch is set to the power
requirements of each
destination. Check that it is set properly
before plugging the
power cord into the AC wall socket.
If
the
switch is not
properly adjusted to the voltage, or if the
place of
residence is
changed
to
an area where the
voltage requirements
differ, adjust the
selector switch as
follows:

Use a
medium-size screwdriver.
2. Insert the
screwdriver into the groove on the voltage
selector,
and adjust the tip
of the arrow so that it points to the printed
voltage
value for each area.

TO USER
This
equipment generates and
uses radio frequency
energy
and if not installed and
used properly, that is, in
strict accordance with the manufacturer's
instructions,
may cause interference
to radio and television recep-
tion. It has been type tested
and found to comply with
the limits for
a
Class
B computing device in accordance
with the specifications
in
Subpart
J of Part 15 of FCC
Rules,
which are designed to provide
reasonable protec-
tion against such interference in
a residential installa-
tion. However, there is no
guarantee that interference
will not occur in
a
particular
installation.
If this equipment does
cause
interference to
radio or
television reception, which
can be determined by turn-
ing the equipment off
and on, the user is encouraged to
try to correct the interference
by one
or
more of the
following measures:
•
reorient the receiving antenna
•
relocate this equipment with respect to the receiver
•
move this equipment away from the receiver
•
plug this equipment into
a
different outlet so that
equipment and receiver are on different branch cir-
cuits.
If necessary, the user should consult the dealer
or an ex-
perienced radio/television
technician for additional
sug-
