What to do if my Polaris Offroad Vehicle engine stops or loses power?
- AAshley JohnsonJul 27, 2025
If your Polaris Offroad Vehicle's engine stops or loses power, consider the following: * Refuel if you are out of fuel. * Inspect and replace a kinked or plugged fuel vent line. * Replace the fuel if water is present. * Inspect, clean, or replace a fouled or defective spark plug. * Set the gap to specifications or replace the spark plug if it's incorrect. * Check all ignition connections and tighten if loose. * Recharge the battery if the voltage is low. * Replace with fresh recommended fuel if the fuel is incorrect. * Inspect and clean or replace a clogged air filter. * Inspect and clean (with soapy water) or replace a clogged intake pre-filter.
