Making Settings on the FP-10
Changing the Key of the Keyboard
(Transpose)
The keyboard can be transposed in semitone steps.
When do I use this?
5 When you want to perform at a pitch that’s comfortable for the
singer’s voice, without changing the printed score (your ngering
on the keyboard)
5 When you want to transpose a song that’s written in a dicult key
(with numerous sharps (
¾
) or ats (
²
)) to make it easier for you to
play
For example if a song is in the key of E major but you want to play it
using the ngering of the C major scale, you would set the keyboard
transpose setting to “4.”
If you play C E G
0
It will sound E G B
