shipping to you. You’re not required to use the guide. Go out & play!
To power on your radio, long press the power button
To power o, simply repeat the same procedure once more.
Power On/O:
Adjusting Volume:
To increase volume, turn the volume knob clockwise.
To decrease volume, turn the volume knob counterclockwise.
Changing Channels:
To change channels up, turn the channel knob clockwise.
To change channels down, turn the channel knob counterclockwise.
Switching Modes: Memory/Manual:
The RM25R-U/V can switch between Memory (MR) mode [pre-programmed
channels], or Manual (VFO) mode [manually entered frequencies]. When in
Memory mode the channel will display it’s alpha tag channel name and small
channel number. When in Manual mode the channel will display its numeric
frequency in MHz.
Quick press the [V/M] button on the radio to switch between the two modes.
To manually enter a frequency start in VFO mode.
Adjust the frequency by turning the channel knob left/right or use an optional
hand mic with keypad to key in the numeric frequency.
FM Radio:
To activate FM radio listening, quick press the [FM] button on the radio.
Use the Channel knob to select radio station.
Transmitting:
Press and hold the [PTT] button on your provided hand-mic to transmit.
Release the [PTT] button when finished with your transmission.
Selecting Channel A/B:
While two channels are displayed, your radio will only control/listen to one channel at a time.
To switch between the upper channel selection “A” and lower channel selection “B”, quick press the
[EXIT/AB] button located on the front of your device.
The icon will move up or down to indicate which channel is selected.

Frequency A: Top displayed frequency.
Example shows numeric frequency
Frequency B: Bottom displayed frequency.
Example shows alpha tag channel name
