1. Save the project.
2. Select the button to transfer settings from the PG/PC to the converter.
3. Connect Startdrive online with the drive.
4. Press the
button to start the safety commissioning.
5. Enter the password for the safety functions.
If the password is the factory default, you are prompted to change the password.
If you try to set a password that is not permissible, the old password will not be changed.
6. Press the button to end the safety commissioning.
7. Conrm the prompt for saving your settings (copy RAM to ROM).
8. Disconnect the online connection.
9. Switch o the converter power supply.
10.Wait until all LEDs on the converter go dark (no voltage condition).
11.Switch on the converter power supply again.
You have transferred the settings from the PG/PC to the converter with Startdrive and have
activated the safety functions.

You can use the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access to transfer settings. For more information on the
transferring process, see Section "Backup and restore" in the SINAMICS G120 Smart Access
