Emptying condensation
Empty container after each drying ope ration!
1. Pull out condensation container keepin g it horizontal.
2. Pour out condensation.
3. Always push container in fully until it clicks into place.

Cleaning the fluff filter
Clean the fluff filter after each drying oper ation.
1. Open the door, remove fluff from door/door area.
2. Pull out and fold open the fluff filter.
3. Remove the fluff (by wiping the filter with your hand).
If the fluff filter is very dirty or blocked, rins e with warm water and dry
thoroughly.
4. Close and reinsert the fluff filter.
Switching off the dryer
Turn the programme selector to Off.
Do not leave laundry in the dryer.
Removing the laundry
The automatic anti-crease function c auses the drum to move at specific i ntervals, the washing remains
loose and fluffy for an hour (two hours if the a dditional Less Ironing function is a lso
selected-depending on model).

Never start the dryer if it is damaged!

washed with water.
Do not leave children
unsupervised near the dryer.
Keep pets away from the dryer.
The dryer can be operated by children 8 years old
and older, by persons with reduced phys ical,
sensory or mental abilities and by pers ons with
insufficient experience or knowledge if they are
supervised or have been instructed in its use by
a responsible adult.

The drying cycle can be interrupted for a brief period so that laundry may be a dded or removed.
The programme selected must then b e resumed and completed.
Never switch the dryer off bef ore the drying process has ended.

1. Open door, the drying process is interrup ted.
2. Load or remove laundry and close door .
3. If required, select a new programm e and additional functions.
4. Press the Start/Stop button.

Do not tumble-dry the following fabri cs for example:
Impermeable fabrics (e.g. r ubber-coated fabrics).
Delicate materials (silk or curtains made from synthetic material) a they may crease
Laundry contaminated w ith oil.
Drying tips
To ensure a consistent re sult, sort the laundry by fabric type a nd drying programme.
Always dry very small items (e.g. baby socks) together with large items of laundry (e.g. hand
towel).
Close zips, hooks and eye lets, and button up covers.
Tie fabric belts, apron strings, etc. to gether
Do not over-dry easy-care l aundry a risk of creasing!
Allow laundry to finish drying in the a ir.
Do not dry woolens in the dryer, only use to freshen them up a Page 7, Woollens Finish
Programme (depending on model).
Do not iron laundry immed iately after drying, fold items up and le ave for a while a the
remaining moisture will then be d istributed evenly.
The drying result depends on the type of water used during washing . a Fine adjustment
of the drying result aPage 5 /6.
Machine-knitted fabrics (e.g. T-shirts or jerseys) often shrink the first time they are dried a
do not use the Cupboard Dry Extra p rogramme.
Starched laundry is n ot always suitable for dryers a starch leav es behind a coating that
adversely affects the drying operatio n.
Use the correct dosage of fabric softener as per the manufactur er's instructions when
washing the laundry to be dried.
Use the timer program me for small loads a this improves th e drying result.
Environmental protection / Energy-saving tips
Before drying, spin the laundry thorou ghly in the washing machine a the higher the spin
speed the shorter the drying time wi ll be (consumes less energy), also spin e asy-care
laundry.
Put in, but do not exceed, the maximum recommended quanti ty of laundry a
programme overview aPag e 7.
Make sure the room is w ell ventilated during drying.
Do not obstruct or seal up the air inlet.
Keep the air cooler clea n aPage 6 “Care and cleaning”.

Care and cleaning
Dryer housing , control panel, air cooler, moisture sensors
Wipe with a soft, dam p cloth.
Do not use harsh cl eaning agents and solvents.
Remove deterge nt and cleaning agent residue imme diately.
During drying, water may collect between the door and s eal.
This does not affect your dryer's function s in any way.
Clean the protective filter 5 - 6 tim es a year
or if Clean filter flashes after cleaning the fluff filter.
Air cooler / Protective filter
When cleaning, only remove the pro tective filter. Clean the air cooler
behind the protective filter once a yea r.
Allow the dryer to cool.
Residual water m ay leak out, so place an absorbent towel
underneath the mainte nance door.
1. Unlock the main tenance door.
2. Open the mainte nance door fully.
3. Turn both locking levers towards each another.
4. Pull out the protect ive filter/air cooler.
Do not damage the protective filter or a ir cooler.
Clean with warm wat er only. Do not use a ny hard or sharp-ed ged
objects.
5. Clean the protective filter /air cooler thoroughly,
Allow to drip dry.
6.
Clean the seals.
7. Re-insert the prot ective filter/air cooler,
with the handle faci ng down.
8. Turn back both loc king levers.
9. Close the mainte nance door until the l ock clicks into place.
Moisture sensors
The dryer is fitted with stainless s teel moisture sensors. The sensors
measure the level of moisture in the laundry. After a long period of
operation, a fine layer of limesca le may form on the sensors.
1. Open the door and clean the m oisture sensors with a damp sponge
which has a rough surface.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive ma terials.
Only when switched off!
ˎLow Heat
Reduced temperature for de licate fabrics
'that require
a longer drying time; e.g. for polyac rylics, polyamide,
elastane or acetate.
0, 1, 2, 3 The drying result (e.g. C upboard Dry) can be adjusted over th ree levels (1 - max. 3) for the
Cotton, Easy-Care and Rapid 40 pro grammes apresetting = 0.
After one of these programmes has been finely adjusted, the setting is retained for the others.
