P MODE/ (repeat) button
The playback mode changes each time
you press the button, as follows.
The Preview Play function is deactivated
and an artist name appears in the
display.

When you press and hold the button
while “Normal” or “Shuffle” is selected,
the repeat mode is set to “On” and
the setting changes to “Repeat” or
“Shuffle&Rep.”.
When you press and hold the button
while “Repeat” or “Shuffle&Rep.” is
selected, the repeat mode is set to “Off”
and the setting changes to “Normal” or
“Shuffle.”
SOUND button
The setting for the sound quality changes
as you press the button (
“Customizing
Sound Quality” in the Operation Guide).
To change the direction of the clip
1 Remove the clip on the back of the
remote.
2 Reinsert the clip in the opposite direction,
left to right or right to left.
• Depending on the position of the clip,
characters may appear upside-down on
the display and may be hard to read. In
this case, reinsert the clip in the opposite
direction, left to right or right to left.
