Fitting the throttle cable
NOTICE
Do not kink the throttle cable or lay it in
tight radii – make sure the throttle trigger
moves freely.
N Push the throttle cable (12) into the
retainer (13).
Adjusting the throttle cable
On control handles with slide:
N Check adjustment of throttle cable –
see chapter on "Adjusting the
Throttle Cable".
FS 220, FS 280, FS 290 – Mounting
bike handle with preassembled handle
support
Adjusting and securing the handlebar
N Perforated strip on handle
support (3) faces operator.
N Loosen the hex head screw (1).
N Rotate the bike handle on the
support (3) a quarter turn
counterclockwise.
N Swing the ends of the handlebar up.
N Tighten down the hex head
screw (1) firmly.
N Push the handlebar to the left until
distance (A) is about 15 cm.
N Tighten down the screws (2) firmly.
N Remove the seven mounting
screws from the support (3) and
take away the front part of the
support.
N Position the drive tube in the rear
part of the support.
N Refit the front part of the support.
N Fit the seven mounting screws but
do not tighten them down yet.
