Initial operation
Battery Mode
 Open battery compartment cover of the product.
 Insert 2 x AA batteries observing polarity (“+” and “ –“ marks)
 Close the Battery compartment cover again.
Power adapter Mode
 Inserting the adapter AC output plug into the product power jack, plug
the AC input of the adapter into the mains socket of electricity.
 Only use the included adapter: HX018-0500150-A2E
Note:
 The icons on the LCD display will briefly light up for 3 seconds after the
clock is fully powered, and you will hear a beep tone, and detect indoor
temperature.
Reception of the Radio signal
 Press and hold the button for 2 seconds to enter the RCC
