This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance. This appliance can be used by children
aged from 3 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision. Children aged from 3 to
8 years are only allowed to operate the tap connected to the water
heater.
INSTALLATION
Caution: Heavy items – handle with care.
Install the appliance in a room protected from frost.
Position the appliance where it can be accessed.
If the appliance is damaged because the safety device has been
tampered with, it is not covered by the warranty.
If the appliance is to be installed in a room or location where the
ambient temperature is constantly above 35 °C, ensure that the room
is correctly ventilated.
When installed in a bathroom, do not install the appliance in volumes
V0, V1 and V2 (see the figures on page 4). If there is not enough
space, they can be installed in volume V2 or the highest possible in
volume V1 for horizontal models.
Make sure that the wall on which the appliance is mounted can
support the weight of the appliance when filled with water.
Refer to installation figures (pages 4-8).
Installation of vertical wall-mounted water heater: To facilitate future
replacement of the heating element, leave clear space (300 mm up
to 100 litres and 480 mm for higher capacities) below the ends of the
appliance pipes.
General warnings
This manual should be kept even after the product has been installed.
