Yepp Easyt is suitable for tting on standard luggage carriers which
are suitable for a maximum load of 25 kg and which comply with
NEN 14872 (25 kg). The new method of installation on the side of the
carrier means it is also suitable for most e-bikes.
The Yepp Easyt is equipped with a special frame that allows the Yepp
Maxi Easyt child seat to be tted straightaway.
The Yepp Easyt can also be used together with the Yepp Junior, but
the luggage carrier must then comply with NEN 14872 (35 kg).
The Easyt comes pre-assembled. Position the Yepp Easyt on the
luggage carrier and tighten the bolts rmly after ensuring correct
positioning. Tighten both bolts evenly in order to achieve optimum
xing.
Check the bolts after a few weeks, and tighten if necessary.
Following installation, the Yepp Maxi Easyt can be tted quickly
and easily.
The position depends on the type and size of the bicycle, and the
Yepp Maxi Easyt 's centre of gravity may never be more than 10 cm
behind the rear axle (see also Yepp Maxi Easyt instructions for use).
After installing and tting the Yepp Maxi Easyt, check
whether there is a risk of the bicycle tipping over backwards when
your child is placed in the seat. If that happens, you should move the
Yepp Easyt forwards. Check regularly to ensure that all xings are
properly secure.
Do not attempt to modify the carrier yourself, since this will void all
guarantees and/or claims for liability.
Always remove the seat when transporting the bicycle on a car bike
carrier. Turbulence may damage the seat or the xings, which could
lead to an unsafe situation.
Do not use the carrier if any part is broken. Have a broken part
replaced by a professional.
After installing check that everything has been installed correctly
and that all the xings are properly secure.
After installing the Yepp Easyt make a short test ride with the
Yepp Maxi Easyt in order to check that everything still works
correctly on your bicycle.
The Yepp Easyt is only suitable for installation on luggage carriers
which comply with EN14872 and are suitable for a load of at least
25 kg. If the Yepp Easyt is used for the Yepp Junior, the luggage
carrier must be suitable for a load of .
Only use the Yepp Easyt on a bicycle which is suitable for the
additional load. Check the bicycle's user manual or consult the
manufacturer or your cycle store.
The Yepp Easyt should never be installed on motorised vehicles
(including mopeds, scooters, etc) apart from e-bikes.
If you want to carry cargo on the bicycle, place it in such a way that
the weight is evenly spread across the bicycle. Matching saddlebags
are available.
