Select your language from the drop-down menu.
Click NEXT and the Easy Setup Assistant will
guide you step by step to set up the router.

Follow the instructions until you see the screen
below. Click FINISH to complete the setup.

Insert the TP-LINK Resource CD into the CD-ROM drive.

Select Archer C20i and then click Easy Setup Assistant.

Please select your preferred conguration method:
Method 1 >> Conguration via CD Setup Wizard
For Windows users only
Method 2 >> Conguration via Web-based Quick Setup Wizard
For Mac OS/Linux users or Windows users who cannot run mini CD
Power o your modem and disconnect your existing router if you have one. (If the modem has a backup battery, please remove it.)

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the Internet (blue) port of the router to the modem’s LAN port.

Use another Ethernet cable to connect your computer to one of the Ethernet ports (yellow) labeled 1/2/3/4 on your router.
Turn on your modem and wait for 2 minutes. (Replace the battery if you removed it previously.)

Plug the supplied power adapter into the Power jack, and then press the Power On/O button on the router and wait for 1 minute.

To use the router to share les or printers, plug an external USB hard drive, USB ash disk or USB printer to the USB port.
Please refer to Appendix 1 for more details about USB features.

For Windows users only
Method 2 >> Conguration via Web-based Quick Setup Wizard
For Mac OS/Linux users or Windows users who cannot run mini CD
Open your web browser and type in http://tplinklogin.net
in the address bar. Then enter admin for both user name
and password to log in.

Click Quick Setup in the main menu, and then you can click
Next.

If the login page or the web-based management page
cannot be displayed, please refer to Troubleshooting-2.
Select Auto-Detect to detect the Internet connection type and
click Next. (The Dynamic IP is the suitable connection type for
most cases, so we take it as an example in the following.)
If Dynamic IP is detected, then the MAC Clone page will appear.
In most cases, there is no need to clone the MAC address. You can
select “No, ...” and then click Next.

This method is only for Windows users who can run the mini CD.
This method is for Mac OS/Linux users or Windows users who cannot run the mini CD.

The router will automatically detect the Internet connection. If
the Internet is available, the router will direct you to Step 5;
otherwise, you need to continue with Step 3.
