AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router
Connect the Hardware
If your internet comes from an Ethernet outlet, connect the router’s WAN port to
it, then follow step 4 and 5 to complete the hardware connection.

Connect to the power socket
Connect to the internet
Turn o the modem, and remove the
backup battery if it has one.
Turn on the modem and then wait about
2 minutes for it to restart.
Connect the modem to the router’s
WAN port via an Ethernet cable.
Connect the power adapter to the router and turn
on the router.
Note: If the Wi-Fi LED is o, press the Wi-Fi button on the back panel for about 2 seconds until it is on.

Verify that the following LEDs stay solid on to conrm the hardware is
connected correctly.

Congure the Router
1. Connect your computer to the router (Wired or Wireless)
Wired
Turn o the Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router via an Ethernet
cable.
Wireless
Connect your device to the router’s Wi-Fi using the SSID (network name) and
Wireless Password printed on the label at the bottom of the router.
2. Launch a web browser, and enter http://tplinkwifi.net or http://192.168.0.1 in the
address bar. Create a password to get started.
Note: If the login window does not appear, please refer to FAQ > Q1.

Follow the step-by-step instructions of the Quick Setup to complete the initial
conguration.
