you step by step to set up the USB Printer.

Insert the TP-LINK Resource CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Select TL-WR842ND and click USB Printer Setup.

Select your language from the drop-down list.
Click START and
the Easy Setup Assistant will
guide you step by step to set up the Router.

Follow the instructions until you see the screen
below. Click FINISH to complete the setup.

Appendix 1: Conguring the USB Printer
The USB Printer Setup Wizard is currently supported in Windows 7 32bit, Windows Vista 32bit, Windows XP 32/64bit, Windows 2003 and
Windows 2000 . Please follow the steps below to finish the printer configuration.

Click Install to install USB Printer software and click
FINISH to complete the setup when you see the Finish
page.

After nishing the USB Printer Setup Wizard, you may be
prompted "Found New Hardware" on your desktop.
Please follow the instructions to install suitable driver
for your own printer. After that, users in the LAN can
share the printer via the Router.
USB hard drive
* Some USB hard drives that work at a high
power without using any external power
adapter might not be supported.
Connect the WAN port on your Router to the Modem’s
LAN port with an Ethernet cable.

To use the Router to share les or printer, plug an external USB hard
drive/USB ash disk into the USB port, or connect a USB printer to the
USB port. For specic conguration procedures of the USB Printer,
please refer to Appendix 1.
Connect your computer to one of the ports labeled 1~4 on
the Router with an Ethernet cable.

Plug the provided Power Adapter into the POWER jack and
the other end to a standard electrical wall socket.
