Tale raccomandazione vale a maggior ragione per i sensori poichè, oltre a
gestire la segnalazione di allarme, essi segnalano anche la manomissione e
l’anti-mascheramento (doppio o triplo bilanciamento degli ingressi) e questo
non può avvenire se i dispositivi sono collegati in serie sullo stesso ingresso.
• Il cablaggio del bus RS485 può essere effettuato con topologia libera ed è
quindi possibile realizzare tutte le derivazioni del caso tuttavia si consiglia di
effettuare, ove possibile, il collegamento diretto.
• La lunghezza massima consentita del cablaggio è pari a 600 m (somma di
tutti gli spezzoni di bus stesi).
• Il modulo isolatore/ripetitore art. 01711 permette di espandere il bus RS485
per ottenere altri 600 m di cavo da utilizzare per i cablaggi.
Collegamento di terra della centrale
Per il collegamento di terra deve essere utilizzato l’apposito morsetto posto sotto
il trasformatore in corrispondenza del collegamento della sua alimentazione di
rete; va inoltre collegato a terra anche il coperchio, utilizzando il terminale a faston.
Attenzione: un corretto collegamento alla terra preserva la centrale e tutti i suoi
dispositivi da guasti provocati da scariche elettriche ed atmosferiche ed in parti-
colare garantisce l’integrità della rete di telecomunicazione.

Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla
sua confezione indica che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile
deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. L’utente dovrà,
pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita agli idonei centri
comunali di raccolta differenziata dei rifiuti elettrotecnici ed elettro-
nici. In alternativa alla gestione autonoma è possibile consegnare
l’apparecchiatura che si desidera smaltire al rivenditore, al momento
dell’acquisto di una nuova apparecchiatura di tipo equivalente. Presso
i rivenditori di prodotti elettronici con superficie di vendita di almeno
400 m

è inoltre possibile consegnare gratuitamente, senza obbligo di
acquisto, i prodotti elettronici da smaltire con dimensioni inferiori a 25
cm. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per l’avvio successivo dell’appa-
recchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento
ambientalmente compatibile contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti
negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo
dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
By-alarm programmable control panel that can be managed via
on-screen keyboard, 8 local inputs expandable to 24 via the expan-
sion modules, 1 power supply output 13.8 Vdc 1.5 A expandable with
additional power supply unit, 1 alarm relay output, 1 change-over
relay output 3 A 24 V expandable with another 24 via expansion
modules, complete with metal enclosure, surface mounting.
The microprocessor control panel is equipped with 8 input lines, expandable
to 24 zones and is managed with the keyboard art. 01705 and with connec-
tor 20478-19478-14478; it is designed for connecting to PSTN communica-
tor 01708 and installing the voice synthesis module 01713.EN and the GSM
transmitter/receiver module 01706. The backlit on-screen keyboard allows a
facilitated direct dialogue by the user for all the system management functions.
The programming can take place directly in the control pan-
el via the keyboard or with a two-way connection over the telephone
line or via the PC where the By-alarm Manager software is installed.
CAUTION: The control panel is supplied already preconfigured for managing
6 zones as illustrated in the installer manual that can be downloaded from the
Vimar website. After powering up the system, if the connected devices are
not the ones contemplated by that pre-configuration, the keyboard will start
sounding, detecting a tamper alarm; then perform the following procedure:
1. Type the user code 111111 on the keyboard to silence the buzzer.
2. Exit the user menu via the ESC key.
3. Enter the installer code 123456.
4. Go into the Inputs menu and set the desired configuration by using the
keyboard or, alternatively, configure the system via the By-alarm Manager
software.
