If your Wacker Neuson Power Pump isn't taking in water, several factors could be the cause. First, ensure there's enough priming water in the housing. Check that the engine speed is properly adjusted and not too low. Inspect the strainer for any blockages and clean it if necessary. Examine the suction hose for damage and repair or replace it if needed. Also, verify there are no air leaks at the suction port by ensuring the fittings are tight and the housing cover O-rings are sealing correctly. Confirm that the pump isn't positioned too high above the water source. Clear any debris that may have accumulated in the pump housing. Finally, check the clearance between the impeller and insert.
