3. In the Select Source dialogue that opens, click on your scanner model. There will normally be two options in
this dialogue for your scanner model.
The TWAIN driver is labeled simply Xerox DocuMate 4790 or Xerox DocuMate 4799.
The Microsoft Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) driver will also be available but we do not recommend that
you use this driver. It has limited functionality and does not contain any of the features described in this
document.
4. Click on the Select button.
5. From the Insert menu, click Scan Images….
6. The scanner’s TWAIN interface will now open for you to select the scan settings and start scanning.
