Information for Customers Operating Transceivers in the UK
Thank you very much for purchasing this YAESU HF transceiver.
The Transceivers listed in this notice are congured at the factory with the WRC-15 5 MHz (60 m) allocation as shown
below as “B2”.
When your Transceiver is operated in the UK or a location where the 5 MHz allocation is the same as the UK shown
below as conguration “C2”, then you need to follow the instructions below for your model to change the 5 MHz (60 m)
conguration, before using the transceiver for the rst time.

1. Turn the transceiver OFF.
2. Press and hold in the
[
FUNC
]
and
[
MODE
]
buttons while
turning the transceiver ON.
The green LED Indicator will blink with intervals of 0.5 sec
(0.5 sec ON, 0.5 sec OFF).
3. Press and release the
[
MODE
]
button, and the Green LED
Indicator will now blink with interval of 1 sec (1 sec ON, 1
sec OFF).
4. Press and hold in the
[
MODE
]
button, and the radio will re-
start automatically. Once restarted the change of 5 MHz
frequency configuration will have been completed suc-
cessfully.
