REAR SHOCK ABSORBER ASSEMBLY

TIP
When installing the oil seals to the relay arm,
face the character stamps of the oil seals out-
side.
3. Install:
• Relay arm “1”
• Relay arm rubber cover “2”
(to the relay arm)
TIP
Make sure that the portion “a” of the relay arm
rubber cover is positioned on top of the swing-
arm.
4. Tighten:
• Connecting arm nut
• Relay arm nut

INSTALLING THE REAR SHOCK
ABSORBER ASSEMBLY
1. Install:
• Rear shock absorber assembly “1”
TIP
Make sure that the label “a” on the rear shock
absorber assembly faces down.
2. Tighten:
• Rear shock absorber assembly nut (front
side)
• Rear shock absorber bolt (rear side)
