Protocol (DHCP) service is enabled, the device allocates IP
addresses to clients connected to it.
DHCP Serv er Disable: If the Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP) ser vice is disabled, the device does not
allocate IP addresses to clients connected to it and IP
addresses must be entered manually from each client.
DHCP IP Pool: Starting and Ending IP address specify IP
address range which is assigned by DHCP ser ver to access
devices. The IP address out of this rang e cannot be assigned
by DHCP ser ver.
DHCP Lease Time: Lease Time specifies how long a
computer can use IP address. If the device continues to use
the IP addr ess, it must initiate a request again befor e the
lease time expir es. This IP address will not assign itself to
another device until the old device doesn’ t initiate ar equest
when its lease time expires
